Our Mission
The National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (C.N.E.) was founded by a group of entrepreneurs with the mission to "move the Italian economy".
We represent and protect micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, startups, self-employed workers, freelancers, and retirees who feel neglected by the large traditional trade unions.

Mary Modaffari
National President C.N.E.
Founder and National President of C.N.E., Mary Modaffari is a visionary entrepreneur who created this trade union organization with the mission to "move the Italian economy", offering targeted support to the needs of an entrepreneurial fabric often neglected by large traditional trade unions.
Currently on the Board of SERI (European Union of Interest Representatives) at the European Parliament, her institutional position consolidates C.N.E.'s role as a strategic bridge for Italian companies towards European Union institutions.
Under her leadership, C.N.E. has developed an operational HUB in Brussels that strengthens the organization's European presence and ensures direct representation at EU institutions. She represents the values of ethics, innovation, and ESG sustainability that characterize the entire confederation.

March 6, 2025Strategic agreement based on a joint "Political Document" that strengthens unitary representation. C.N.E. maintains its operational, marketing, and relational autonomy, but coordinates political actions and obtains political-organizational support as well as participation in the National Board.
